Our commitment

Baldwin Business & Tax Services is an Enrolled Agent practice in Chatsworth, California, preparing tax returns for individuals and small businesses and representing clients before the IRS and the California Franchise Tax Board. Clear, reachable information is part of good service: what each service covers, what an Enrolled Agent is, and how to get in touch should be as easy to use with a keyboard, a screen reader or magnification as with a mouse.

Accessibility is treated as ongoing work, and this website is reviewed whenever its content or design changes.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements that help make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. This website is designed and built with the intent to conform to WCAG 2.2 at Level AA.

It has been reviewed by the people who built it, using automated checks and manual testing with a keyboard and at different screen sizes. It has not yet been audited by an independent third party, so it is described as intended to conform rather than fully conformant.

What has been done

• Text and interface colors meet at least 4.5:1 contrast for body text and 3:1 for large text, form fields and controls.
• A logical heading structure, page landmarks and a “Skip to main content” link on every page.
• Every link, button, question and form field works with a keyboard and shows a visible focus outline.
• The “Which one sounds like you?” cards can be moved with labelled previous and next buttons, and each card comes into view when you tab into it. On phones they are a simple list.
• Questions in the FAQ announce whether they are open or closed.
• Form fields have visible labels, required fields are marked in text, and errors are described in words next to the field.
• Meaningful images have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Phone numbers are tappable links, controls are sized for touch, and the layout reflows to a single column down to 320 pixels wide without sideways scrolling.
• No audio or video plays on its own. Smooth scrolling and entrance animations switch off when your device asks for reduced motion.
